Remember this post? Well, I've finally turned all of those incomplete granny squares into one cushion! I used this pattern, also designed by Yvonne, who blogs over at the lovely Yvestown Blog. I'm so excited, it's the first cushion I've made myself, and my first complete crochet project too!
I discovered The Yvestown Blog a few months ago, and after reading back through pretty much all of Yvonne's brilliant posts and tutorials I decided that I simply had to learn to crochet so I could attempt to make one of her adorable pillows. With the help of Youtube and Lion Brand Yarn tutorials I was quickly on my way. I'm slowly crocheting my way through the granny squares for a cushion and some little hearts for a garland too.
